The Florida Regional Councils Association (FRCA) is the statewide organization of the 10 regional planning councils (RPCs). Regional Planning Councils Apply Regional Metrics to Economic Development Strategy
In partnership with the Florida Chamber Foundation, FRCA launched a website on regional metrics,
http://www.flchamber.com/foundation/the-florida-scorecard/ These regional metrics, aligned with the Chamber’s Six Pillars framework, are used in each Council’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies (CEDS). As federally designated Economic Development Districts, each Council is required to adopt a strategy that serves as an economic development plan for the regional economy. Investment priorities identified in the strategy become eligible for funding through the U.S. Economic Development Administration.
